The clergy are on it once more routing for the minimum reforms before the 2012.They claim they are certain Wanjiku will not have a new compressive constitution review b4 2012.The big Q is,will we ever have this document in this 21st century???

This minimum reform crap is just like the campaign for the nation dress. It can never happen. Every one of us has an opinion and thats the biggest impendiment for any reforms.Do u expect somebody in power to advocate for cliping of power or for those out of power to advocate for a powerful presidency?

I thought the experts would be our only hope. How wrong was I.

I Think We should Forget the Whole thing And continue amending the current one.

minimum reforms!!minimum reforms!! reforms minimum!!!!damn it....this cycle will always be repeating itself after every two years, just because some idiots somewhere are not getting a share of their ultimate expectation.....

why can't the clergy agitate for total reforms? 3 years is a long time for comprehensive reforms...

I fully support minimum refors (i.e. amending the current document) because:

cheaper: We've already spent Ksh15bn chasing after a mirage of new katiba.
Common sense: we can't even adhere to the current katiba, will a new one make us more law abiding?
Easier to implement: as soon as you mention contentious issues in the new katiba, some cretin somewhere starts digging in saying they won't pass the katiba
