Na bado. There is nothing you will do about it and even if you do, there is nothing that is going to change. This is the Kenya you wanted and God is good, he gave it to you.

In other news.....Kenyatta National Hospital Heart surgery department has not had a facelift since 1978. All they need is 100 million to equip the facility.

But I guess a statue for Kibaki, a few billboards for Kenyattas father are our path to Konza and Vision 2030.

I don't why you try to isolate yourself. This is a bit elitist. Unless you're in the diaspora, if the Kenyan boat sinks you'll also sink with it.

Stop using hard words. There is nothing elitist about seeing the rain coming and going to buy an umbrella as your neighbout goes to buy a T-shirt. It's called life.

I will say this again on this forum the upteenth time. Just because you are sinking don't think everyone else is.

The gov't is spending money willy nilly and without a care on the consequences. I guess that word was used too much to describe them that they are now immune to it.

There are those who will suffer because of this spending. Others will thrive. Which are you?

Or are you the ones who go around preaching that we are all together when things go wrong? Or close your eyes to obvious gov't excesses that cannot be allowed in a properly functioning gov't. Just because you voted for them or because you had to beat Raila?

Sometimes govt spending like in this case does actually boost the economy. It will be a good thing for the companies that will win tenders for the supply of various goods and services during the celebrations. Hata sisi when we throw birthday parties, we boost the local businesses eg supermarkets, pubs, butchery etc.

Exactly

a dialysis machine costs 102 million. patients wait for months to get treatment at Kenyatta hospital because the obsolete machines available are always down.do you see anything to celebrate when these fellow Kenyans are suffering?
boost supermarket butcheries with my tax.ABK.

and the small Matter of IDPs most of who voted for JUBILEE in the hope that they can return to their shambas or get compensation? na hii baridi yote in camps?

Are you so much in the know that you are aware that the dialisys machine is not budgeted for in this financial year?

Are you so naive to believe that the so called "IDPs" that we have today are genuine? Really? SMH

you could at least attempt to answer the questions raised, then demand for the goggles count.

I do not agree with the direction this government has taken. But trust me, if you give me the same candidates on that ballot, my vote shall remain - Jubilee. They are letting us down BIG time, but the alternative is just unpalatable.
Please Cord, or whatever opposition that shall be in place in 2017, give us a proper candidate, na tutarusha hawa watu nahuko... without caring where they land!
This team was the lesser evil in 2012. The other promising candidates, like PK/Tuju were left out because we had to deal with this competition first. Si ati they radiated hope saaana(their supporters decided kukufa na masuspects knowingly).
Katiba inasemaje @McReggae? Is your man eligible in 2017? Because if he is, the reality is we are stuck with this Jubilee!

Kenyanbeef, nowhere have I ever said on this forum that Raila and co are the better option.

When a tomato is rotten, a wise mother knows to not feed her children with it. Other moms, will probably look for one that is not as rotten as the other and feed their children in the hope that they won't get sick.

In this case, choosing the lesser evil was still choosing evil. It won't turn into gold anytime soon.

surprisingly they have taken 100 days to show you their true colours. Jubilee is Cord and Cord is Jubilee.

My motto is very clear. I will only vote for someone who has the good of the country in their ACTIONS. Apana watu wa kusema na kusema.

This is only 1 thing that you know about. How many other spending sprees are going on that you have no idea about.

In other news: VAT on basic goods. 1.5% levy for the non-existent railway..Laptops for children who don't need them...More money to Mpigs...Carpets and curtains to die for....and the list goes on.

But I'm waiting for the jubilee brigade to show up at around 2 pm. They usually do that then. Its as if they have gotten their talking points from Itumbi.

Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

Slight correction.

A Fresenius, Braun, Baxter or Nikisso dialysis machine costs approximately USD 35000 i.e. 3 million.

Consumables, water, electricity and nursing costs an average of Ksh4500 per dialysis session per patient.

Some kidney patients at KNH have taken KNH to court over provision of dialysis services at KNH.

It's a very sad situation what these patients go through.

Sad
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

What really became of us Kenyans. Why dont we want to reason and atleast see sense and constructively criticize wanton Govt spending when our tribesmen are at the helm.
A few months ago I drove my one and only brother to KNH for that urgently needed life-saving dialysis session.Sadly the few available machines were either occupied or had broken down,After more than 15 hrs of waiting sadly my bro passed away.I would be at peace if that does not happen again to anybody else, and that can only happen if this govt prioritizes its expenditure humanely.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
