Not finding a job is now a form of employment. Our way of thinking is so warped.

This is a terrible proposal and I hope it never sees the light of day.

Society already spends disproportionately on this small elite, as compared to what is spent on all other levels of education.

And now we propose to pay them for the privilege of not being able to find or create jobs?

Certainly not what I understood by resource transfer.

Who advices our leaders these days?

who comes up with such stupid ideas ?

Firstly it will demotivate some grads from seeking employment. Secondly it will cause inflation of graduates. We already have too many graduates. We need some people to strike out as entrepreneurs. Others to pursue technical courses.

No wonder we are a failed state.

Our MPs are the highest paid in the world.....some of our governors have allocated themselves over 50m in entertainment allowance per year i.e over Ksh 1m per week, 53B to be spent on laptops for barely literate pupils. And now they want to give 15k every month to each of the hundreds of thousands of jobless graduates. And we the tax payers are supposed to fund all this?

This is the craziest idea yet. Is this supposed to be similar to the Unemployment people get in the US? If so, does the person who made this suggestion realize that one has to fund their own unemployment account and the amount disbursed is based on what was earned. Or is it supposed to be similar to Welfare - in which case shouldn't all no/low earners be entitled to a check?
