I think people who get low grades in schools actually end up learning more important and meaningful skills than people who score higher grades. Most students who achieve high grades in school usually do so because of a natural aptitude for quick learning as opposed to any effort on their part. Add to this the praise that comes with this effortless achievement and you end up creating lazy self centered achievers who easily give up at the slightest challenge.

A student who struggles in school gets to understand early on that he is not the best in anything, he gets to know that there are others who are better than him and he therefore learns humility. He is not afraid to seek out others for help and learns to not only be more social but work well in a team. If he is self driven he gets to put effort in learning and sees his grades improve and therefore learns a correlation between effort and achievement. He develops grit and perseverance that will do him a lot of good in real life situations.

If somebody's big talking point in their achievements are the grades they had in school then by all accounts they have not achieved much.

@ Muchr,well,i do not think his brilliance as lawyer is known,or is it?
I give him marks for coming out and talking like he has always been on the trail,he worked the crowd( reminded me of Mungatana)although it was on his last day of campaigns,he did not say anything of maana for the population( he told them once they vote,to stay there dancing "junior,junior,junior" hahahaha and i was like,OK) but he is a good orator.

Congrats to him and hope he will not keep the campany of all those loud mouths in Ukambani.
