Please provide some 'meat' supporting your proposition. I am sincerely at a loss. A wazuan said X-trail is not as cheap As I think, but how do the running costs compare with those of the car in front. I agree Subaru is low, compared to the Xtrail but it looks hardier, i imagine. I have seen also some awfully kept subarus that are an eye-sore.

Thanks a lot @Mnjoro, exactly what I wanted. Tho si consumption ni juu kidogo au? Taking current prices (Consumption on highway becomes just about 11 KM/Litre(500/(5000/109)). This is higher than Kluger Harrier which do like 12.5Km on a litre yet have 2400cc engines.

Pls briefly explain also why it depends

Shame on you that is until they ride a Qashqai or a souped murano and then they go say mama mia kumbe we've been sukumaring wheelbarrows
or the panoramic view from the Kluger decks

2008 Subaru Forester is raised significantly. Pity that the Auto Transmission is typically 4 speed. A 3.5L Murano sounds like fun. But then if you are getting that, it would only be fair compare it to a XT (or a 3.0R Outback). A plus for the X Trail would be the ability to use 2WD unless 4WD is needed.
