Headline story in The Star. TSC to stop deducting KNUT money from Teacher's salaries. Teachers to pay KNUT directly.

if that happens knut will find it very hard to collect the money on their own, most teachers won't pay.

The three arms are independent of each other.

I wonder what lady Wisdom would say about the government's treatment of KNUT after the end of the strike? Officials fined and in court, efforts to cripple them from lack of funds, confidences breached on social media. Hmmmn....

Top Knut officials detained for contempt

Government to cut off KNUT money

Out in the open wisdom calls aloud,
she raises her voice in the public square;
on top of the wall[d] she cries out,
at the city gate she makes her speech:
“How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?"

I thought this was already on-going even before calling off the strike... the date for this hearing had already been set long before the strike was called off if i am not wrong? And that is why, word in the street was, part of the negotiation was for TSC to drop the charges.....

I hear you @Wendz, you speak of the court case - okay put that aside - though government/TSC did not make any efforts to withdraw.

The other actions show a trend where government is wielding power. Which is fine until the day when they will be on the weaker footing again...

On a related note, MPs give themselves powers to set salary in new Bill
