As much as we (and I) like them (Kibera comandos) pulling the tracks,I would rather they pull it between Malaba and Border to save the same guys pains>WHY??They pull a track not knowing that tomorrow they will not have the cheap commuter train to Industrial area...Just a thought.

@B. Timer...the last time the recently 'acquired' tanks were used was in 1989.....we surely need to test them just in case, and Migingo could be a perfect test field. We shall tell the International community that we are just defending our borders while in essence we are testing the 'relics' and also tying to make slim the so called lietenants who are dying of obesity at the Barracks.

No need to send our Navy to Migingo.....Just close the main entry border points of Busia and Malaba and force the Ugandans to the table.....In early 90s,Moi did it with 100% success. He even went ahead and established a military outpost at Hakati but not before flattenning the then notorious Kambi Sofia slum in Busia .......Problem here now though would be,there are so many Kenyan business people and students in Uganda unlike then.

Of all the East Africa member countries,Kenya is the senior most of them.Having said this, the one thing I don't seem to understand is why everyone is spoiling for war. There are many options available to us and war should be reserved as the last resort. Secondly, what is there to be gained if we fight over Migingo i.e will it compensate for the costs of full scale war with our neighbour who also relies on us for daily, weekly etc supplies? A good proportion of our own economy depends on that market which we seek to destroy in war.Frankly,I believe all eyes are on us to see how we dispense with this Migingo issue and that is bound to set a precedent to other countries around here. My only contention is that we are being perceived as though we are doing diddly here.

GoK and GoU are joined at the hip.....

MORTALS....I have just confirmed that its only Kenya among the great lake countries who is governed by a leader that has never 'held a gun'.

What I mean is that all countries surrounding Kenya and also those that are closer to Kenya currently all have leaders (Presidents / PM / Lords etc) who were former military personel or are still wearing the military jacket...!!!Even Kikwete,OMG.

Museveni (Uganda)....................Led a coup to acquire power in 1986.

Kikwete (Tanzania)....................Is a former Lieutenant-Colonel graduate.

Nenawi (Ethiopia).....................Coup leader,turned civilian ruler.

El Bashir (Sudan).....................Coup plotter and a tough Army General.

Warlords (Somali)....................Over a dozen trigger happy warlords all over the country.

Kagame (Rwanda)...................Jumped from the bush after 1994 genocide.A Genaeral.

Nkurunziza (Burundi)..............Military ruler and former guerilla team-leader.

Kabila (Zaire)............................Born by a rebel dad, former Army commander.

E................T......................C,

I now know why M7 is not bothered; si baba will just have another press conference to remind all those who have hears that 'its now two months since it became clear to all Kenyans that I have only one Rooooooooooooosey'

Kenya should suspend itself from EAC,threaten to close all border points esp the western borders hoping that this will pressure the other EA countries to pressurise M7 to the table.

Remember M7 is not a good to all his neighbours so he wont be having friends on the negotiating table even though it may seem like UG's economy is nowadays not heavily reliant on Kenya, the other countries who rely on kenya will gang up against M7.

On the issue of all our neighbours being led by Military people all of them are not good friends with M7.

The other advantage Kenya has is that on military support kenya has a upper hand on international aid than UG. Kenya is in fact more important to the international community than UG.

Our so called diplomatic way of doing things is the one affecting us.

I think with the latest development at Kibera jana, theres more than meets the eye.

Could it be that someone had instructions to pay some goons to uproot the railway in the

name of illegal power disconnections ?

If the railway isnt 'planted' back by today and theres some dilly dallying, then Kibs will be

sending an omnious message to M7.
