Sure fire ALL of them. Hire dunderheads as replacements. Next year we start complaining about the standards of education. So we propose to change from 8-4-4 to 13-24 with extra big laptops.

Let's deal with the issues instead of hiding. Gov't made a promise, gov't must pay. Otherwise what you have is a banana republic.

Someone needs to lay extra hands on this gov't to understand that negotiations are what gov'ts do for a living.

But its ok. At least it will be a major achievement in the gov't. I can just see it

"In the first 100 days, the gov't fired all the teachers"
This is progress I tell you.

My rule of thumb is simple. If this gov't is still paying for Anglo-leasing, then they should also honour this contract. Even if it is something they don't like. Unless they are saying they like Anglo-leasing.

Knut might as well have made a mistake by daring TSC/Kaimenyi.....but if i were TSC,i would have fired all the teachers first and then give them a chance to re-apply before going for fresh recruits....ama?

With the public service threatening to go on strike, best move is to make an example out of the teachers. Sack them all, they reapply afresh under new terms, now that the opposition has made this political. Then peace shall prevail.

I guess the only matusi I can come up with today is calling you "simonkabz"

The only people who think that firing ALL the teachers are those who think we are still in election period.

Something tells me even the guys at TSC are doing this not to implement it but to have a levearage position in their negotiations.

Firing 268,000 people is not a place this country needs to be. Ask the banks with bank loans these fellows have on their books.
