KUPPET called for the strike first. KNUT followed suit. KUPPET realized that no more could be squeezed from the government and signed the deal. KNUT, as Ruto put it, just wants a deal which will make them look better than KUPPET. The government should not be arm-twisted any further. It's only that KNUT has public goodwill which will wane anytime soon as parents realize that they are being conned co they have paid school fees.
Sossion and that other secretary ( can't figure out his name) should stop thinking of themselves as demi-gods. Remember Sossion chest thumping that nobody except KNUT can call of the strike? These people should deop their ego and call of the strike by yesterday. KUPPET starting to complain June salaries still not in. Their members still havent reported to work. I thot KUPPET called their strike off...ummh have the teachers been sacked now? They should ask Baba Moi how it went down... possunt quia posse videntur

Yes, I suspect that GoK will talk to teachers, but if I were in charge, I wouldn't. TSC now asks qualified unemployed teachers to register in their county offices for consideration to replace striking teachers. ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Knut might as well have made a mistake by daring TSC/Kaimenyi.....but if i were TSC,i would have fired all the teachers first and then give them a chance to re-apply before going for fresh recruits....ama? Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Sure fire ALL of them. Hire dunderheads as replacements. Next year we start complaining about the standards of education. So we propose to change from 8-4-4 to 13-24 with extra big laptops. Let's deal with the issues instead of hiding. Gov't made a promise, gov't must pay. Otherwise what you have is a banana republic. Someone needs to lay extra hands on this gov't to understand that negotiations are what gov'ts do for a living. But its ok. At least it will be a major achievement in the gov't. I can just see it "In the first 100 days, the gov't fired all the teachers" This is progress I tell you. Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.
