Well... if they are ex-bonus on the 12th... then logic says they are ex-bonus on the 19th...

@Vvs. The shares r selling cum bonus at least for today*. @cnn. There is no reason for the share to sell at 30% less than yesterday's price since it is still selling cum bonus** and cum dividend until and including 19th. After 19th we can expect the price to plummet to 100/= or so. What do others say? *,** Not sure whether the closing of books for bonus is for today only or from today upto 19th.

if books closure was the 12th,a single day,the share would be ex bonus /ex dividend today.If then the closure is 12-19th,what is the status of trades in between these days?

@Cnn-if the books are closing today it means the selling status remains as yesterday until 3p.m. It only becomes ex- on monday ie after books closure day and not on tha day of closing.

@cnn. 13th not 12th. Thanx. Traded xa today according to NSE report! I think the 12-19 closing of books is misleading.
