In a notice published in Nation today on illegal titles to land.

Pursuant to Section 14(3) of the National Land Commission Act, 2012, the Commission would like to invite any person with an interest in these parcels of land to appear before the Commission within fourteen (14) days from the date of this notice to make representations to the Commission before it makes any determination.

The National Land commision is one of the most important commissions we have in Kenya.
They need to ensure they have structures to ensure efficiency. For starters, they could start with an IT department so that emails and website issues are sorted out.

It serves those with vested interests that the archaic record keeping is retained. Imagine looking up for land titles just by a click, will you cough up for your file to be found?

Lands ministry in Kenya with orengo last 5 years ddnt achieve much in ICT. With Ngilu i dont see much judging form the way Lands commission is operating.
The next batch of reforms should be focused on Lands Ministry.
As Iron Sharpens Iron, So one Man Sharpens Another.

Unfortunately reform these days means give way so that I do what you are doing and eat what you are eating.
