She was among a fearless clique nicknamed ''the Seven Bearded sisters'' ...that stood up against official injustices and paid a high price indeed. A true Kenyan Heroine.
Tragically, Chelagat Mutai has died in absolute need and poverty, neglected by the same Kenya she fought so hard for.

Age is transforming me into an Elder;becoz Admin hasn't made me one.
