Open letter to TB and all Kiuk haters,
Greetings Good people.From your postings,its obvious you guyz have some deep seated hate+ fear for our kiuk brothers.I want to play the devils advocate here and walk you through some bitter truths about my kiuk brothers.
1.They are undoubtedly the most resourceful and hardworking indigenous tribe in east africa2.They have fine business sense and acumen3.They are always willing to help one another rise up the ladder and not resort to witchcraft and all sorts of dark world activities4.They own the majority of the real estate in kenya(i bet that plot u bought or house you stay in belongs to or once belonged to a kiuk)5.They have and own the majority of small and large businesses among the indigenous tribes6.Education wise,they are at par and even overtaken the Academic powerhouse(the luo) with their number of proffessionals and graduates7.They have the FINEST ladies in kenya
Dont you haters think that with all the above factors,its time you befriended and learned from them the secret of all these successful endeavours?i have resigned to the idea that the kiuks foundation is strong and have subsequently learned both their language and good ways(not bad ways).And its paid good dividends.So if u cant beat them,join them.

Kikuyu's are not better than anyone else in Kenya. It is not the Kikuyu's that are the ones running India and China to be growing at this fast rate. Anybody can do what the Kikuyu's do.
Kenya is for all Kenyan's Titus Naikuni is Maasai yet he runs a profitable airline,Bitange Ndemo is a Kisii yet he will bring ICT to Kenya. Odinga is Luo yet they trade liquified gas,By Yusuf Trucks they dont belong to Kikuyu's. Delamere,own a wildlife ranch soysambu,yet ther are not Kikuyu,Sameer Melari,Aly Khan Satchu,Manu Chandaria,are proposing Kenya's next railwayline,business park. They are not Kikuyu.
Let the truth be told Kikuyus are just like other Kenyan's. Everyone needs to work harder to make Kenya better

In a place like the UK where we have equal footing there is absolutely nothink to write home about the kiuks to be honnest.No mudu wa nyumba at places of influence ie Judiciary,Police,Banks,KRA,Kionage Street etc.You want a loan you have to qualify,you want to be rich work hard no sort cuts.We are all the same even better given equal opportunities.That is my personal observation in a neutral ground

Then why does everyone run around shouting that whatever the okuyus have they stole...i have never stopped wondering.... NEVER TALK OF A RHINO IF THERE IS NO TREE NEAREBY - ZULU PROVERB ...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

It is the bad deeds of the kikuyu elites that makes other tribes view kikuyu negatively. It started with the sidelining of odinga senior from government,forgetting that he played a vital role in freeing Kenyatta. Then the death of tom mboya the undermining of moi. The grabbing of prime lands around the country,the domination of the cabinet by kikuyu tribes men. The list is endless. Today a mungiki will extort money from you. Wake up kiuks. We hate your bad deeds,and not you as persons. Coming to think of it,during moi's regime,the kalenjin were the most hated object. So,just sit it out till the next erection sorry. It is true that they are like any other tribes,may be alittle bit too resourceful. Our politicians have incited us to hate these brothers and sisters of ours and we have followed them like blind sheep! Sure enough there are some kiuk elites messing things up but so are other elites from almost any other tribe in kenya. If a certain individual kiuk elite is messing,does that warrant for a poor wanjiku to be burnt in a church? People we are all kenyans and we are all equal before God and fellow men

this thing,kikuyu this kikuyu that is all nonsense talk.This post should have been deleted kitambo.does it really matter what tribe one if from?I dont really care what tribe iam from,iam me.i dont see how being a kiuk has helped me,i dont see how my tribe will help incase of trouble.Iam me because God made me to be who iam.

I like your post...at least so far no insults have arisen from the replies,I hope it stays so for at least 40 responses..
This topic has been discussed several times before,but I will humbly put in my opinion ( I stand to be corrected politely)
My submission is that nobody hates a particular community for the sake of it. It may be hatred due to bad deeds from a community or leaders. The Kikuyu and Luo are both arrogant and love speaking their Language even in offices,this is the first point why these 2 communities are 'hated' most.
Back to your post,see my comments in italics

The Somali (despite all odds against them!) take this cup. Consider the Indians and Kisiis3.They are always willing to help one another rise up the ladder and not resort to witchcraft and all sorts of dark world activities.
This is again Somalis 'Cup'4.They own the majority of the real estate in kenya(i bet that plot u bought or house you stay in belongs to or once belonged to a kiuk)
Consider stuff in bordering on arrogance. Majority,yes,but again what was the history of these land acquisitions...genuine or grabbed ?5.They have and own the majority of small and large businesses among the indigenous tribes.
Again,what is their population as a % of the Kenyan whole ? This could explain their large numbers on the wrong side of the Law as well ?6.Education wise,they are at par and even overtaken the Academic powerhouse(the luo) with their number of proffessionals and graduatesBlame Nyanza leaders for the ever dropping education standards. An average Primary School in Nyanza is an 'eyesore' in terms of infrastructure.7.They have the FINEST ladies in kenya

Genesis of Tribalism (summery) as it was explained to me by a wise old man.
Forgive me if I'd posted it and you'd seen it before.
Just after independence,the most educated groups (by numbers) were the kikuyus and luos. They realised that the constitution gave the bearer of the main office ultimate power and they wanted it bad! They also knew they had the numbers. The rivalry was so bad that you were cursed if one married from the other tribe. But that was then. Didn't affect the nation much.
Then came Moi who was illiterate and naive. His advisors used his weakness against him to enrich themselves and impoverish the nation. Soon over 50% of the citizens were languishing in poverty. The regime now realized that their biggest threat was a tribe called ‘the poor’. I’m sure you can now see where this is going…
Do you remember ‘The Tower of Babel’ story? Moi perfected it by creating tribal chieftains who were adored. Remember how every year the tribes would take turns to statehouse to receive goodies?
So my friends,tribalism was not meant for you and me but for the poor - to divide them while the 'leaders' continue to steal their resourses and that’s why you didn’t think of going to chop your neighbour’s head after the elections nor are you enemies with your workmate with different political vies from yours. So us guys in here have no idea of what we’re talking about or how dangerous this weapon/virus called tribalism is. We're just spoilt kids playing with fire coz it looks nice.

The finest ladies my foot! Bah! A mijikenda woman has more charm in her little finger than a kiuk has in her head.... And now with the mungiki thing knocking youths out of school,warias have better chances of becoming an academic power house than the kiuks.
