Difficult not to view this as Economic Sabotage:
The issuance of any such advisory immediately invalidates any Travel Insurance that tourists would include in their bookings. Just to understand, virtually every "average" tourist (the kind who saves up for 1-2 years to travel) almost always purchases online/via a local travel agent. Travel Insurance is heavily sold alongside bookings. This covers medical injuries, but also replacement travel /accommodation / evacuation arrangements if something goes wrong. All these policies immediately become invalid upon issuance of such advisories. So tourists will not even purchase the ticket to begin with! Kenya needs to build an economic strategy that completely discounts any positive effects from Tourism!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

@Jmbada
Good understanding of the issue!

We should all understand that the interest of their citizen come before the interest of Kenya so they'll issue advisory based on their own analysis! This is the risk we should mitigate from our side

These advisories have been issued since 2003 but that has never stopped those who have chosen KE as their favorite destination from coming. Richard Branson was very vocal about them sometime back http://www.dailymail.co....ce-terrorism-banned.html
