the primitive energy is double on the government side with the likes of kazungu.
advise to uhuru: postpone the wasteful laptop project and then you can tell the teachers and other civil servants that there is no money.
as long as this project is still on expect more strikes.
I fully support teachers for their cause.

we are all fruits of their hard work.most of wazuans live much better lives than their teachers.its time to give them what is due to them and more.

The coalition garment it appears was actually great, you only needed to blame the arrogant people on the other side.

You are what you are cause of your effort. This fallacy about teachers being the best Nooo. After all that was what they trained for and they were/are being paid.

With all due respect and humility, KNUT should be considerate and engage the government instead of taking a hardline stand.

Here's the reasoning.

The pay demands made by KNUT need to consistent with the pay made to civil servants in the same job categories. The SRC has harmonize the pay. We cannot have teachers getting high perks while other civil servants within the same job categories are not enjoying the same perks.

Again, the pay has to be sustainable. The new government should not be coerced into implementing a pay deal that is out of touch with the current economic situation. Leave that sixteen years yada yada alone; if the pay demand is astronomical, the government not pay a dime.

My 2 cents on this matter.

A 1997 deal is a hard sell to a 2013 government. I suggest they forget all that and discuss fresh terms, implementable within 5 years, with a promise to strike again in 2 years if not met.

All in all, let us remember that most probaly neither Sossion's nor high ranking Govt officials children go to the schools in question...

....above all, to stand.
