fafanua hizi personal jokes...

Translation oe the parts in Kyuk;
Kabogo (which means a small rhino): People, where does a leader come from?
Crowd : From up (meaning heaven)
........................................................
Since Kabogo uses a chopper (from up), and thats how he was elected.

Is it true that the kabogosians spread a rumour (or is it) that Nyoro is masonic or mtu wa kanisa ya caitani (satan)? affecting his election chances

That is very true...Kabogo also made sure that Nyoro did not mount any peaceful and remarkable campaigns through hooliganism activities metted out on his (Nyoro) supporters.

I think the smear campaign worked in Ruiru zone which was one area meant to turn the scales...Juja and Thika town were Kabogos strong holds...

From the news highlights, today's parliamentary session in Kiambu was messy! Hope the voices of opposition will not be "dealt with" in a thuggish manner.

A good question...

My County Rep is a very sober person who by the way was elected on Agano Party in the midst of the TNA wave. He engages us every morning on FB on the going ons of the County assembly and we give our opinions and feedback on what we expect. This was his update yesterday.

Quote:
Wednesday will be the defining day for our county. If you get time just pay a visit in the assembly. But we are worried coz money has started flying right n left. And some of us hav succumbed to this evil. We will expose them all that day.

Tried to put some sense into my people but they ignored my counsel. They started complaining the first week after he was sworn in. That was the only vote I lost and I voted knowing my choice will lose but my conscience was clear. Choices have consequences!

@ shotgun. Yes choices have consequences. Will you just stand there crying over spilled milk or go and encourage your ward county assembly representative to fight the county government injustices??

Applause Applause Applause well said @segemia, whether or not @shotgun voted for kabogo is neither here nor there, ama @shotgun ulihama after kabogo became gavana? NYOROsheni yeye

This is very encouraging, to hear or read what the assembly reps are doing for the common good of the citizenry...

If what I saw on the live update is anything to go by, then a long battle awaits...We will all see which rep in this hall is voting with his/her stomach...

I reside in Kidero's county but I take keen interest in what goes on at my home county. I totally agree with you, it doesn't matter where one voted, we all have to keep vigil and have our voices heard. The more reason I engage my County rep almost daily on social media.

I have to however say, with much shame, I dont even know the name of my nairobi county rep.

@ meduza,

So was Kabogo elected because he landed in a chopper from the sky and from nowhere or because he had been chosen by God Himself from somewhere??Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

Kabogo Dilema is not a unique one. Its the same thing reciprocated in the whole country. Thats why we have rubber stamps in the name of MP's.
