Some one explain why the tyre industry in Kenya is dominated by the Akamba

I wonder if some things have explanation. Abagusii/Agikuyu in matatu industry, Akamba and Jaluo in tailoring/fabric design; Jaluo in panel beating...the beauty of ethnic diversity

Jaluo in most vitu za kuundwa.

I guess its History. When Akambas were porting Ivory from across Kenya to the coast, they would collect old worn out tyres to craft some sort of footwear in order to make the journey bearable. Hence their acquaintance with tairi was that far back. Me thinks

A few months ago I was doing a project with KRA majorly at the ICT department. Majority were all Kales. It made me wonder how the other departments were distributed. I realized each department's staff are dominated with people from the Senior Deputy Commissioner's tribe. Its that bad.

boss, make up your mind.... It is either majority or all. not both.

Get a better example for my people yawa......Maseno is naturally expected like any other indigenous local based institution.

None as they are the oppressed.Add onto the list NCPB full of kaleos, district accountants who are mostly kisiis, and very few kaleos work in the private sector.I was surprised that Kiraithe now works@ KAA.

@McReggae could they be as well their own oppressors? many a times when they get the positions the feel to good to bring jadhot close.

@QD, you could have a point here...ni mambo ya kusifiwa back in the village...ama kuimbwa kwa ngoma fulani...
