What is the Kajiado governor's strategic plan regarding the mess that is Rongai - roads, water, sewerage, garbage, social amenities etc?.

Hii ni shida ya kujitakia!!! rushing to. build flats on 60 by 40 plots without considering social ammenities...

In another post i asked where is he...Rongai is just a filthy place...too filthy

Rongai is greed from local 'inhumane developers'. until love of money and not caring about your tenant is sorted out, expect the worst.

It's lack of town planning and enforcement of planning regulations by the authorities at Kajiado that are to blame. If wananchi need to be policed lest the society degenerates into chaos, then developers also need to be 'policed' to prevent the built environment degenerating into chaos.

And this issue of putting up 25 units on a 60x40 plot needs to be relooked at. I think the minimum plot size for flats should be at least 1/4 acre so that tenants can have breathing space, natural lighting etc.

Rongai is a 'basket case" and nothing much can be done as the mess is beyond redemption. The roads have been squeezed by the landowners, sewerage non-existent ( boreholes and septic tanks share spaces) and garbage is all over. Some towns are best left as is and create better planned ones like they did for Abuja and Dodoma when pressure on existing cities was just too much.

To plan Rongai quite some demolishing and no politicians would have guts to do such esp in a politically charged environment. Rongai is a case of town coming to the shamba. It should be left as a shamba place

Police is under central gov and they have a provision in the budget. Perhaps the best move would have been to install cameras, and work on garbage collection, Mombasa is stinky dirty
