Neymar has the eyes of many with the world cup headed to Brazil next year.He has great individual skills but he seems to thrive on hype.Self discipline might take him far but if he falters on that,he will be forgotten long before Messi.....Probably 5 to 7 years from now.

Spain couldn't even match Tahiti's record. They defeated Cooks Island 30-0 in Sept 2, 1971. http://en.m.wikipedia.or...1971_South_Pacific_Games

Uruguay edeged Nigeria 2:1 in that late night, ama I call it early morning kick off!!!

The tournaments top scorer will probably come from group B and I think this is unfair to group A yawa......Torres leading with 4 goals, SMH!!!

Watched half of it - it beautiful goal by Mikel. Lapse of concentration on the goal line cost them their first goal.

Tahiti walijaribu especially considering how low their population is. Lakini FIFA should take a serious look at Oceania bana. There is no way teams like Tahiti should be qualifying for anything. This team probably cant even play in Kenya premier league. Do you think a KPL team would lose 6-1 to this lousy Naija team ?

Well Neymar is younger than Messi and has alot of potential, i just don't think at this point you can say he's better than the Argentine because he's less experienced. I think this is probably Neymar's best performance for the National team, didn't quite go as planned at the 2012 Olympics. Anyway i'm a big fan of him and can only hope he'll get better and probably be a bit more strong physically....he's a bit light-weight.

Yep the guy needs to put on weight ASAP. As at now he looks like a Kenyan footballer, no thighs at all. That wont cut in Europe. Even the Barca medical staff think so.

Apart from that he looks like the next authentic Brazilian after the great Ronaldhino

I think this Oceania winners is absolute nonesense. A team that has conceded 24 goals in 3 games should not be appearing in Confed cup

At the 2010 WC, New Zealand did not lose a single match, they were number 3 in the last Oceania competition where Tahiti became champs!!!!

In terms of talent. this is easily the worst Nigeria team I have ever watched. I started to watch them during the era of Yekini, Siasia, Keshi, "Elastic" Elahor et al. For a country of 140 million that is football crazy to not have a single world class player is amazing. I can excuse Kenya because we are not football crazy.

The fact that Nigeria are African champions means African football is at its lowest level ever. African football has been regressing for years.

No wonder a team like Ethiopia was on the verge of qualifying for the world cup before they screwed up by fielding an ineligible player in Nyamweya like negligence.

The gap between Europe's top teams and Africa's top teams has been widening in the past 5 years or so.
