Winning the Elgon cup in Kampala this weekend really made my weekend. Those Ugandans brag like heck whenever they beat Kenya at anything.

In the words of the coach Mike Friday:

Humphrey Tall Kayange: – The old pro who never gets flustered knows how to play the game and makes things look so simple….His full again fitness matches his brain and watch out RWC.

Andrew Amonde: - Uncompromising and consistent in his actions and attitude on and off the pitch. The true heart of the Shujaa and a great captain

Oscar Ouma: - The powerhouse of Kenya7′s wheels to burn and power to match…A genuine big player in the world of 7′s

Horace Otieno: - the ultimate team player on and off the pitch and has an effervescent approach to playing.

Patrice Agunda: – the forward who has a huge thirst for work and will run hid “blood to water” for his fellow teammates….Aggression is given!!

Eden Agero: – the young maverick playmaker who has all the skills and is learning which one to use when

Michael Wanjala: - the pocket soldier, strong in defence and the link between forwards and backs.

Felix Ayange: – the unpredictable playmaker who has feet and eye for the gap, never gives defenders a rest.

Lavin Asego: - the old master who has the skills and brains to mix it with anyone…Wants to go all out for one last chance and is given his all to get his fitness to where it needs to be to compete.

Biko Adema: - the thinker of the squad with the boot that can cause mayhem both at restart and conversion time.

Willy Ambaka: - genuine world class centre who has the line breaking ability to cause havoc against any defence and is deadly at kick off time with his aerial skills

Collins Injera: - world class winger who has it all in attack and defence…Model pro at training and leads by example.

Dennis Ombachi: – powerhouse winger who had a right handed fend to die for. Scores big tries at big times

Billy Odhiambo:- Billy the Kid is the man coming he has the step and power and has broken through far faster than anyone expected at just 19. give him time to develop and learn and watch out world

Oscar Ayodi: – has come from nowhere this season to being a contender, great skill sets and versatility which is a credit to his footballing ability.

Robert Aringo : - the ultimate competitor having moved from the back row to halfback and turning heads with his determination and hunger to learn compete and win…he has the eye of a winner!!

Philip Wamae: - talented all-round footballer with great aerial skills and runs intelligent lines on and off the ball….professional Fupi runner

Davis Chenge: - the gently softly spoken youngster of the squad who has raw strength and power to become a big forward.

Sydney Ashioya
- rejuvenated elder statesman of the backs who is hungry to keep up with the young guns
