@ Mc Reggae.....If Moyes fails to beat City and Chelsea at home, the press and Pundits will put him under a lot of pressure. I think they are all waiting to see how he performs especially against the big teams. I don't think he will be sacked even if he fails to secure any title next season.

Anyone who thinks Utd fans will start screaming bloody murder when Moyes loses a few games does not know football or is just commenting for the sake of commenting. This is the one season where the incumbent champions may not be favourites with Chelsea and City making changes to contend and Man Utd going through transition from SAF to Moyes. For me, Moyes should start laying the foundations for Man Utd to become competitive in Europe and be mentioned in the same breath as Bayern and Barca in terms of fear factor to opponents (not how many titles won, Madrid, AC and Liverpool fans, tulizeni boli)

@Taz, I understand Juve are still upbeat about signing Higuain despite reports of a sealed agreement with Arsenal. I think he'd be a good signing for goons but that is the least of their requirements to become real contenders for the title. Now that Gareth Bale is not leaving Spurs, they'll only get stronger with a few signings so goons have to keep pace.

Isco has not decided if he's joining City so let's keep our pants on...Transfer window hata bado even though clubs have already signed players. Isco plays in the exact same spot as Silva...he must decide whether he's prepared to sit out some games if he joins City, especially if they don't release Tevez.

Alcantara would be a good signing for Utd but I insist we still need a steely midfielder, something we have missed since Roy Keane left. Fletcher seemed to be getting there till his bowels gave in. Our wing players have been terrible last season but I hope Moyes can get the best out of Nani, I still haven't lost hope in that boy. Zaha should bring some life back to the wings also since Young and Valencia were invisible as far as I was concerned with only scattered good showings. Personally I think 18M pounds was a waste of money on Young, he has not lived up to the billing. Rooney should be sold unless Moyes puts him back alongside RvP and Kagawa becomes the player who plays behind both...never though I'd say sell Rooney with such comfort. Fabio needs to be brought back to ensure Evra sees a lot of bench time and Buttner evolves. Another central defender to ensure Rio gets only a few games may be required also. As much as we have Jones, Smalling and Evansdepth is required when you're competing on all fronts.

That's my 2 cents on my team.If Moyes retains the title I'll be thoroughly impressed, but I want us to get back to competing seriously for Champions League glory, where SAF, unfortunately fell short

@Smano.....The transfer window opens in July but clubs are free to sign players before then, only thing they cant do is register them with the FA. I would be pleased if we managed to secure our targets early instead of the usual rush just before start of the season. I'm almost certain Higuain will be an Arsenal player by start of July, Juve were inerested but they've already confirmed that the Argentine is going 'elsewhere', check Morata's latest comments. I'm not really worried about Spurs, they do not have the money to compete with Arsenal......well if they sell Bale they'll have enough. So far they've only been a threat to an Arsenal side which has been selling its best players. I believe the club wants to keep pace with the top three clubs not Spurs. This season we'll not lose any of our top players, if we get Higuain and Fellaini we'll only get stronger. Isco has already indicated that he would like to follow his 'father' Pellegrini so I think that deal is as good as done....Nasri will probably make way for him not Silva. Anyway he is Spanish so i wouldn't be surprised if Real Madrid managed to outbid City. I think all the top EPL clubs want to secure their transfer targets before they go on pre-season tours.

I'll say this about Moyes, the British press are usually ruthless when a manager fails to deliver especially if you manage one of the top four clubs. SAF was in a different league, he commanded respect from almost everyone involved in football. No one could criticize the guy even during bad spells, question is will Moyes get the same treatment......I think as long as he wins he will but akianza kushindwa ovyo ovyo he'll be in trouble.
