I said here last year that the ICC will have to make some of these changes when Uhuruto win the Presidency. some people jeered as they could not imagine the "mighty" ICC bending the rules to accommodate the "suspects".

I guess you aint seen nothing yet.

These cases will be brought back to Kenya. If Madam Bensouda wants to prosecute, she will do it from here.....as a resident of some hotel or an apartment in Nairobi.... This is Kenya.

The bulk of any case is on the actual hearing, presentation of evidence, witness accounts, cross examinations and defence. The occassions Ruto is required to attend is no more than 4 weeks in about 2 years. My take.

My opinion is that ICC should leave us alone to deal with our suspects the way we wish especially since the suspects were democratically elected by the Kenyans.
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

unfair to the system, if you can accuse an individual of the crimes purported to have been committed by the three defendants, and going as far as prosecuting the same in the said court of law - I would expect the icc to have the balls, to arrest the same individuals.

even if they are found guilty, I am sure icc will find a way to accommodate their schedule and come up with a flexible customized jail time.
