I have been thinking that most of the internet will be anarchical but self organizing.

In what way? Corporates, individuals and governments are all gunning for rights.Who's going to win in the end, majority or minority?

Rights are laws, and laws are about things that can be determined to 'reasonable uncertainty'.

But in the internet there's very little that one can determine, or even imagine.

This force seems to be anarchical, but it is in fact, organized and beneficial.

Corporates, and governments need to stop chasing after the internet and instead ride on her.

Other attempts will simply fail.

Getting a beating means not conforming to prevailing laws.

That is, those getting a beating need a paradigm shift, or re-organization. They need to focus on mutualist objectives, and re-brand and to create new relationships.

With the internet has 'homo sapiens' become 'homo deus'.

What's homo deus? Yes the paradigm shift is one of the problems because its starting to shift power to the people. For example youtube can make or break an individual/organization but it borders on copyrights issues. On one hand its extremely popular on the other hand people will become afraid of it because of strict internet laws.

Can one of you please give an example of "internet laws"? We might be discussing hot air here.

I don't know of an example. And I'm saying attempts to have any will lead to loss.

There are of course laws regarding individuals, internet service providers, transactions . . . but technology has overtaken all laws modelled on conventional wisdom.

At the moment, there is a dark agenda that some organizations and companies are trying to push through, this agenda affects the Internet's governance - affecting all countries globally. Should the agenda have it's way, the Internet will no longer be as we know it.

What is "Net Neutrality"?

The Conference to push the Agenda:

Kenya, among other nations, refused to sign the treaty - A highly commendable decision.

Other nations that did not sign:

http://www.pcmag.com/art...2/0,2817,2413218,00.asp

"The United States said today that it will not sign an international telecommunications treaty thanks to the inclusion of Internet-related provisions."

"According to the BBC, the U.K. and Canada have also pledged not to sign the treaty in its current form, while delegates from Denmark, the Czech Republic, Sweden, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Costa Rica, and Kenya also have reservations." -

The above is different from SOPA & PIPA - The media industry, primarily from the US, trying to curb piracy.

ict.go.ke should have answers to your question - then post them in this post.

The internet is a virtual world which no state or nation has any claim on or can claim.Yet as it stands it is the most powerful force in the world.Power, politics and laws can't be separated, yet how do you govern a virtual world?

You would be surprised what some guys sit down and dream of. Sample this:
Quote:

Iran Kicks Off Its Internal Internet With Government Email
It’s no secret that Iranian authorities don’t trust or like the Internet.

This week, the Islamic Republic inaugurated the national email. A government assigned email address linked to your social security number that makes it easy to trace users and monitor their communication..... Obtaining your own personal government-run email address, according to the minister, is as mandatory as having a Zip code.

Iranians can obtain their national emails through the state-run postal service. One must register online and fill out a lengthy form handing over personal information—date of birth, social security, home address, telephone number and so on.
Here and here

It might be an extreme case scenario but it starts with targeted restrictions.

On the bright side though, an 'internet law' would rope in online transactions which are mainly used as avenues for tax avoidance by corporations...

This thesis may be interesting.
Live and learn; and don’t forget, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
