I would be very interested in knowing the full extent of the constitutionality of what he did.

Well done. Mr President, I envy you. The president was decisive, and i believe the law is on his own side.
Senate is a house with less powers than what they would like us to believe.

Good. Let's see what the counties do with the cash. If they do well then they can fight for more. So does it meaning the meeting the governors had with dp was of no consequence or is uhuru trying to show who's boss?

>>FAST FORWARD 2015

Nairobi, Mombasa and Narok counties collected the highest amount of revenue in the 2013/2014 financial year, a new report shows.

According to the document released on Wednesday by the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), Nairobi raised Sh10 billion, Mombasa Sh1.7 billion and Narok Sh1.5 billion.

Wajir, Tana River and Garissa generated the least revenue, contributing only one percent of the total revenue.

Garissa collected Sh36 million, Tana River Sh32 million while Wajir raised Sh61 million.

NAKURU SHINES

Other counties that performed fairly well are Nakuru, which raised Sh1.8 billion, Machakos Sh1.2 billion and Kiambu Sh1.24 billion.

During the release of the report at Safari Park in Nairobi, Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga requested CRA to remit the taxes Siaya people pay in Nairobi remitted to his county.

“Many Siaya Residents migrated to Nairobi and are making the county shine in revenue collection. We want the CRA to calculate that amount and remit it to Siaya and you will see the difference,” he told the forum attended by 10 county bosses.
