I hear you McReggae but here are some facts,

Denno is 28 going to 29yrs (that's like 48yrs old on the field)

Between 2005 and now he has moved from Nantes to Auxerre and now at the 2nd division Ajaccio. Now Ajaccio has been relegated from league 2 to I don't know where after finishing last. See a pattern here? He's not moving up!

Now his behavior towards the national team has been one of arrogance. One should always put country first and solve small disputes later because in your country lies your biggest support base. When the cookie starts to crumble, it really crumbles.

My thinking is, as Amrouche said, he's done is done and we should look more towards the new stars coming up. They say a footballer's life expectancy on the pitch is short and should spent well.

@2012, I think Denno is farely comfortable with those movements (lack of ambition if you ask....being too comfortable) look at what Amrouche said before about him:

"Speaking on Monday at Nairobi’s Hills Park Hotel, after meeting Kenya Premier League(KPL) coaches, the Belgium born tactician said Kenya is yet to get a sharp striker like French based Dennis Oliech who plies his trade with Ajaccio FC. He said Oliech can play in any club in the world including elites team’s like Manchester United and Barcelona.

‘Oliech is the only striker who has impressed me perhaps in Africa. He can confront any defence single handedly and destroy it and leave it for dead. I wish Kenya could produce more strikers of Oliech calibre, we can go very far. Indeed, even many strikers playing in the English League, only few you can compare with Oliech. He is a cut above the rest” said Amrouche.
..."

We can't really wish away Denno's more than 10 years contribution to the nationala team, he has been the most consistent and outstanding in his generation, he is among Kenya's greates ever if you ask me!!!

I would never wish him away. I think he's a great talent and his absence from the Nigeria match I believe was what made the difference. All I'm saying is it does not matter how great a player one is, without discipline there's nothing there.

BBI will solve it

No need to exaggerate. Ajaccio finished 17th in the French top division.Just a click away.

There's a big difference between talent and great players.

Those saying Oliech is a great player are probably comparing him to the mediocre players in Kenya during his time.

Musa Otieno was a great player. JJ Masiga, Nahashon Oluoch etc.

Dennis Oliech is a talented player who never became great simply because he thought buying a hummer and going to F2 was utopia.

Alba on the other hand is a wannabe copycat. Want's to be like alma but can't. Probably thinks he's Oliech.

And true, Oliech probably thinks that scoring goals entitles him to coach the national team, get free passes to training and VIP3 lounge.

His sell by date is here with us. Let us move on.

So you think one can be a great player minus talent????.....even Mariga is still snubbing HS coz of FKF.....any player mwenye macho yake imefunguliwa will always question when things go wrong, in the same breadth you are attacking @Alba, I think your very personal attacks on Oliech (VIP3, F2) means you probably wanna be him!!!!!
