The Wiper Democratic Movement could withdraw Kethi Kilonzo as its candidate in the Makueni Senate by-election after her step-mother, Nduku Kilonzo, announced that she will vie for the seat.

Kethi won the day when Nduku said she will vie.

JUST IN FROM KETHI KILONZO: A child doesn't compete against her mother, it is a curse. I am not running for Makueni senator. I will not support Jubilee. I cannot stand with my father's enemies. It is a bigger curse.
