Why arebwe comparing a loan rate and a fixed deposit rate? Please enlighten me on the basis.

@kurutu, we are not comparing loan rate to fixed deposit rate. We are talking of loan pricing structures (flat/fixed rate Vs reducing balancing rate).

I must say this post has made me laugh like none other on wazua. Though I'm a fan of the arguments and valid points individuals have, I must say how amusing I found the fact that when the CBK had a well structured explanation people found a way to argue against it..
