My SK friends,I need the utmost truth on how you would handle this one.

My two friends dated for a short while (like a few months),but it seems that they had already overindulged. It now turns out that the lady is paged - with twins. The guy wants to run and the lady is almost desperate and contemplating abortion.

They are both my friends but i feel inclined to side with the chick, and make the jamaa take responsibility. He however says she trapped him and it gets trickier. I cant ask them to get married coz i cant imagine them making a good home for their twins if they cant even agree that they both participated in making them in the first place. Should I advocate for him to support the kid's upkeep?

twins!!he must have hit really hard..

all the same,me think the jamaa should own up,being tricked doesn't mean that he couldn't use protection.he is the dad anyway.

Tell your buddy to take responsibility for his children (is he sure they are his anyways?) and taking responsibility does not involve marrying their mother. Running form one's kids is something that no right thinking guy should even consider. And he should not marry just coz the kids' mum is pregnant.

On abortion, that is a decision between them and their God. Do not get dragged into that either way.

Ati tricked

The guy tuned the gal,got a logo( since he's doesn't seem to be sharp enough to own a house),turned of the lights (why men do that I will never know),removed her clothes, removed his clothes, decided not to use a rubber, took like 2 minutes screaming, had a home run and all this time, the gal was tricking him.

Tell the guy to grow up. Better yet, bring him to me,he WILL PROVIDE for those kids.

Sugarcane is usually given and accepted by mutual consent but it is the mama's who decide whether to have the baby (and in this case babies) or not. The mama can always get the morning after pill if she had unprotected sugarcane.

Having said that, your boy has been nailed, let him support the children, infact if he feels that mama is generally the kind of woman he could have married, then I would advise him to re-evaluate their relationship and just marry her.

Raising 2 kids is going to be the challenge of their lives, your friends had better step up.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

@Obi,The morning after pill has a 25% chance of failing even when taken within 24 hours. The efficacy reduces after every 24 hours. So how do you know she didn't take the pill which failed? Even guys who are on the more reliable contraceptives do get accidents

@Robb

most of us have homes and children sababu ya 'kutegwa'............ask @Pondi and Guka

Ask mwalimu king'ang'i too,he of radio citizen fame.......kila kitu uwa na mazuri na mabaya yake......tell your buddy to look at the brighter side of things

And as someone has noted, twins are a rarity.......

Thank you guys. My friend is certainly not off the hook. The bottomline is,he's got to take responsibility.

Tricked or not,the guy has to take responsibilty for the kids. If he really feels they cant stay in the same house with the gal, then he can support the kids from afar. Just come up with a workable plan with the mother coz again, kids raised in a house where there is no love between the parents are usually affected psychologically for no fault of their own. If all fails, let them have the kids and honourably present them in an abandoned kids' centre instead of aborting the poor innocent beings.

Happiness is not a right - except for children. You won't be happy if you think too much. The search of happiness is one cause os sorrow.
