And did they tell us where the others were? cheap gossip frm the media! The whole team did not perfom and this is not the first there performing badly. So ppl should stop trying to imply that Jamal is to blame for the defeat.

we had as much chance as Nigeria 7s beating Kenya 7s in a return match after scaring them once! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Sunday is not far...when you start playing professional football, drinking and landing are things that need to be under control...Prior to this match, Nigerian footballers kept their discipline, and they were not taking chances...they carried their own drinking water.

Am not a serious soccer follower but the little I know is that Nigeria is a more superior team compared to our stars. Have we ever beaten Nigeria in any match? So why did we expect soo much. I think with Nigeria its more of entertainment than a game to be won. I think with Nigeria its more of entertainment than a game to be won. If there was ever a time we could have beat Nigeria home and away is this year their team despite the big names is a shadow of yester years team... possunt quia posse videntur

National team players smoking shisha a few days before the game reflects poorly on Kenya. With that indiscipline, no wonder Jamal's career never took off despite plenty of opportunities in Sweden and other countries.

Personally wondered the seriousness of the training regime, mentally, for a midweek game when I saw Jamal at Blankets late in the evening. I am not sure though he did anything specific to warrant the nature of negative publicity accorded to him. I believe if Kenya won, we had realistic chances for qualification. If peeps have beef, they should first find out if the players were released in proper accordance with coach's instructions, and if so, what expectations exist as pertains personal life 2 days to a World Cup decider.

Jamal is a good creative midfielder ,super footwork & ball control skills he compensates with this for his lack of pace but sadly raha ndio mingi..reminds me of Quaresma possunt quia posse videntur

I personally believe Kenya could have beaten Nigeria under the following circumstances :
1. Oliech, Mariga, Masika, & Origi are available
2. Good planning including build up matches.
3. Kenya takes a more offensive stance.
In 2009, I watched as a hurriedly assebled harambee stars side coached by Twahir Muhiddin who had only been in charge for a few days completely outplayed Nigeria. Yes Nigeria won 3-2 but the two goals they scored were offside because CAF desperately wanted Naija to qualify instead of Tunisia. I dare say Kenya were the better side that day.
I saw Oliech give Naija pure hell. I saw Wanga was in sublime form. Emmanuel Ake was very good as a playmaker.
This Naija team from 2013 is actually weaker than the one from 2009 that had Obafemi, Yakubu, Yobo, Kanu et al.
But under Amrouche, Kenya has become so conservative to the point that they did not even have a shot on goal.
I am starting to loose faith in Amrouche especially with the way he treats Oliech. And I am sorry but you cannot bvuild a team around Wanyama who is a defensive midfielder.
I also think they should give Oboya and Blackberry a chance. Oboya plays well almost everytime he dons a stars jersey so I am baffled why he never gets called.
At the end of the day however, what is killing Kenya is the lack of youth development structures. I am amazed and appalled that after all these years, we still dont get it.
10 years from now we will loose to Naija again and will sing the same tune because we still will not have youth development structures.

I just think we should chase away Arm-rush! Not value add. If we get a foreign coach let it be a serious coach who can develop the team and even influence how development is being done. Frankly speaking, Logarusic can do a better job at Harrambee than Arm Rouche. Plus picking petty squables with Oliech is petulent of the coach. Oliech doesn't have to prove anything and as a stalwart in the team he knows how to conduct himself. The excesses of Jamal have no place at the national team. Surely a break from camp doesn't mean going to enjoy a fruity smoke at a blankets and wine. He could easily have gone to polite club taken his tipple and gone back to camp or home. Jamal is talented but frankly speaking I think if he can't get disciplined and get a competitive club he should not be anywhere in the team. His mannerisms resemble those of a mtaani otero player. Does he even have a club? Why do we keep fielding him?
