Tz are using Nile waters for irrigation pia.
And what those egyptians are saying is very much teh official policy..in fact, the egyptian leadership may reason that war would be good for the country as it would serve to unite the fragmented State - wars evoke and fan nationalistic feelings and the populace would forget domestic troubles and support the fight against the 'enemy'...
But know ye all that Ethiopia and Kenya have a mutual defense pact - anyone attacks Ethiopia, and we are obliged to declare war on them as well! As we are still building an cross- border (much less cross-regional) aggressive posture, in such a scenario we would merely be left to defend ourselves n maybe, protect Ethiopians.
The problem with Bashir being an ally of pharaoh is that their territory can be used to launch sorties/ special missions against key Ripraian states like Kenya,Ethiopia & Uganda (partly the reason why M7 got those Sukhoi jets?) - I mean pharaoh doesn't have to hit all the states just a few prominent ones ili iwe funzo kwa wengine...
That said its unlikely the paharaohs can sustain a military campaign against 8 states for a long time. It would split the world - Arabs supporting Egypt and Xtians the rest?
War's unlikely for now. The 1956 treaty has to be re-negotiated.
