All the best to the guys who will be running. I will join @wendz in the cheering squad.

Feel the fear but do it anyway.
It's amazing what you can achieve when you get rid of fear.

@kingfisher,i hope you remember to carry my richot. Otherwise what will i be doing for 10 hrs waiting for this mrembo (leona) to finish her 10km?

good luck to all those running...we'll pray for fair weather (cloudy but not raining).

Leona,if you need a 'camel' I can come with my bike and accompany you with water bottles - closer to the end I might give you a bottle spoiked with Djinn & tonic so you get inspired to reach the finish line :o)

I did 42km in 2003,hadnt trained so i clocked my personal best of 6hrs. It actually took a lot of energy not to be overtaken by the 'casualty bus' and a lot of inner pride after a 200 year old granny overtook me at 5th KM and left me chocking with dust..naturally i relegated myself to the cheering squad.

All in all cheers guys..22,000 registrations is quite an achievement.

Congrats to guys who participated by running, those who did it in prayers na wale wote waliparticipate by watching kwa KBC.

BTW was that dude in the wheelchair who 'won' a real participant ama ilikuwa hoax? i think i missed that part where they were verifying.
