Old man about town....

@ leona.....surely you can do the 10km for starters....with you kids for example?....The idea is to have fun....so you run at your own pace...when I did lewa I soon found i was suffering tring to keep up with teammates who were fitter than I(hey! thot clocking time on the treadmill was preparation enough). so I fell back and soon met some ecuadoans who matched my strength.....we supported each other sana from the 18km when the body just screams you cannot go on... But the feeling at finish line is just Great! @all anyone with info on the mara marathon?

Blackberry.....Leave those treadmills alone,train the old fashioned way....roadwork!! Envy u,having done Lewa...ave really wanted to run wild!! Wendz,Leona,Sasha......hiyo ni paukwa.No category called cheerleading,so its either 10km,21km or 42km.

I will be tackling the 10,000m...the clan will be on the cheering squad backed up by 2 ambulances. you never know..
