True @mathukuma. Then u get to test the performance of your weapons - will in future boost sales when you cite that it served outstandingly in the Syrian theatre, no?
Russkies are very good in missile tech, and the S-300 missiles anti-aircraft is one of the most advanced in the world - so so byaad Western fighter pilots stammer n literally shit in their mathuruare at the mere mention of the S-300, and quickly progresses to diarrhear when the missile threat alert on their instrument panel beeps saying an S-300 battery is locked on your jet. N it kills advanced figher jets and even cruise missiles so easily thank God its very unlikely our own F-5 jets will ever face them - I mean, they would be transformed into smoking scrap metal faster than you can finish asking 'wenda wazimu wote walirudi Mathare?' And we are not even talking of the more advanced S-400...
So, Israel oweswacha Syria to get the S-300 (which takes 4 months to be operational). Coz if it happens Assad/Iran will reward Hezbollah with missiles that reach deep in Israel. So a regional conflagration is kabisa possible as Israel will go flat out to ensure the S-300 doesn't become operational in Damascus, and if attacked Assad will of course retaliate, and maybe draw in Iran,Hezbollah,etc...

Either way Syria is effed up, gone the Eyeraq,Libya route.
Also reminds me of the twist in the Ethiopian-Eritrean War where each of these 2 countries would send their jet fighters piloted by Ukrainians to bomb each others' towns/targets coz their pilots were not quite upto the task. It dawned on the Ukrainians that, haiya, they (the Ukrainians) were actually killing each other in the air as Ethiopians and Eritreans cheered 'their' pilots on the ground! Wiser and fewer in numbers, they soon started dumping bombs in forests...
