Reduction of taxes may not be a great idea now, especially with a ballooning government budget. Lower revenues by the government will push development expenditure lower, may curtail growth in the economy while reducing investments on infrastructure and increasing loan funding. It has to be a well thought out plan for it to work, not simply trying to win over the populace. You may have heard Cabinet secretary for transport and infrastructure complain about lower budget allocation for his ministry that may have impact on the standard gauge rail, dredging of Mombasa port, lapsset, etc. Then again, I know tax cuts can boost a citizen's cost of living and enhance consumer spending. It's a balancing act this one that requires more of thought and less of emotions.

Guys, guys, guys!!! Don't catch feelings!!! @simonkabz has a point - on the parliamentary system! I have always wondered what kind of country we would have if we had a parliamentary system!!! We are better off with a presidential system by far. Most MPigs are imbeciles!!! Apart from the salary demands, they have had a miriad of demands from I don't know how many body guards, cars, loans, allowances etc. Can you imagine if the was no executive arm! No president.
