This is a fantastic product,I have used the beta version for the last four months. It is light,the only problem is that it pulls quite a bit from the Microsoft site (increases your data use),I think that was because there were many updates as they were testing and updating. The other problem is that it couldn't work with my AVG anti virus. Certainly much better than Vista,which I used for exactly for one day before going back to XP.

or an original pirated xp....

Best price I have seen is ksh 13,000 from Ravenzo. PC World is ksh 14,000. Of course you can send a KQ flight attendant to China and get for US$21...

...I saw it being analysed on CNN and there were concerns that it may not be easy to upgrade XP or Vista as it would be more expensve than buying a new PC. Has anybody upgraded from any othe 2 versions.

@Gordon Gekko;

Just like you a new laptop was bought for me with the vista version and used it for a week and went to my old laptop with XP. I have never see such user unfreindly windows package...

you can also get the evaluation copy and then go to the internet and get the patch. you will then be able to convert it to the genuine version. this is called piracy

A likely impossibility is always preferable to an unconvincing posibility.

If Windows Vista is the answer,can we please have our question back?

I have the least respect for windows,any version since windows 3.11 for workgroups........only problem with that great windows was that you could press ESCAPE to use the PC without logging on. Any other windows after that ni matope tuu

Have not found anything I like so far with Windows 7,although that might change. Just seems to be pompous,I think Windows 2000 was the best Windows OS.

There is nothing new to learn in windows in whatever way they present it. I've been in OpenSUSE<Linux> and enjoying it!
I use Windows as a guest OS where I cant help...
