Have you seen the advert Kenya power is the proud sponsor of ...very strange at these times when they have no money? Me think KPLC does not need to advertise their product is in very high demand and they are unable to supply... Why not concentrate on building capacity
This guys are always advertising, you even wonder who they are competing with.
Who doesn't know they exist...

That is how you kula money...you give overpriced advertising contracts to friends and eat from there. There's no need to advertise if you're a monopoly and providing an essential service. I'm sure that advertising budget is huge, it must be paying for lots of mistresses!

In other countries, green energy is considered expensive simply because of the efficiency of the electricity suppliers. I see a business study being conducted on kenya parafin. How a monopoly lost to solar and green energy.
I'm I the only one who's 100% sure that my dream home will never be connected to them?
You are not alone here.....solar energy and wind generators seem viable options now.

Reminds me of the adverts by KEMSA that were all over the media just a few months ago.

Maybe KPLC will get a more focused MD since the current one is leaving for a higher position.
BBI will solve it

Kenya Power To Give Free Bulbs Kenya power will embark on the second phase of the free energy saving bulbs circulation in select households later this year in a bid to reduce the demand for electricity. The firm says it will spend 1.3 billion shillings to replace ordinary lamps with fluorescent lamps for at least one million customers. A maximum of four bulbs will be given per customer.
