Is it therefore wrong to eat meat also? What you refuse to realize is that Paul was emphasizing on what would cause your brother to stumble.

Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise. On this one Need I say more? Strong drink is clear.
Hosea 4:11 ESV
Whoredom, wine, and new wine, which take away the understanding. No one refutes the fact that its not wise to make decisions while having a drink. But a explained earlier it was allowed to have wine when having celebrations
