By the way, we sent the funds to the safaricom paybill number of Friday.

Decided to go with the Nonini led initiative as he was more concerned about follow up treatment.

There's more to be done here. Especially in terms of mental health in Kenya and basic psychiatric issues in this country. We can't continue calling depressed people "amekuwa mwenda wazimu".

As for KissTV what a waste of a station. They tried to milk the story instead of helping a sista out.

Tuendelee wakenya vivyo hivyo and thanks to the wazuans who gave up their kabeer or lunch to help this worthy sista.

@alma, I think Kiss tv were doing their job. Imagine the amount of money media houses would spend if they were to help in every sad story they air?
That would discourage them from reporting hence no one would know of the suffering and no help.
Media houses report, well-wishers take it from there.

Saw her mate Zarika Fatuma on TV lamenting as well
A struggling single mum with 2 kids.
Pray she doesn't end up that way.

Totally agree with you there. I don't have a problem with that.

But I have my own views on that station after a few things that they did or did not do. It's an upus station that needs serious leadership.

...Of course you are entitled to your own opinion...if they had not broken the story how would we have known the state Conje was in. We should give credit where it is due...

@alma,
Conje's is a very small matter. Media wanaona na kusikia makubwa sana hata hawasemi.

Ms Slimpossible is really good in those "boxing suits", I had difficulty talking with "myself' to take it easy. smile

That Simiti Vyathiriva is just plain as she normally appears on NTV.

I met conje jogging.
She looked okay and optimistic ready to go.
I stopped to ask her how she was fairing on and her response was encouraging/positive.
Told her not to allow pressures of this life to bring her down cz we kenyans love her.

Who knows where she stays?
