Land Prices in Kitengela

Rank: Elder Joined: 7/22/2009 Posts: 7,452		There is a piece of land - 50 * 100 - I'm being offered in Kitengela. The land is in an area called Acacia [right hand side as you are driving from mombasa road] some 5km or so from the main road [though the plots are not directly accessible by this route at the moment]. We went through a road near Yukos which is longer. The area is undeveloped and we actually found a herd of zebras grazing on the piece of land where the plots are located! Can any wazuans with the information kindly give me approximate prices for such a piece of land given the current market rates in the area. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Does he have anything on offer by the way? Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Rank: Veteran Joined: 11/21/2006 Posts: 1,590		Maichblack-if you are talking about Kitengela generally, the prices vary a lot depending on distance from Kitengela town; distance from Namanga road and closeness to major holdings e.g. by Saccos. If its Acacia, the highest I've seen for an 1/8th is 650k and the lowest kitu 350k. Sehemu ndio nyumba

Wapi @Wendz and other wazuans who understand the dynamics of this area. I need to make a decision and of course I don't want to buy above average market prices or turn down a good deal. Saidia!
