Only 3 countries have strategic value to the US in sub saharan africa nigeria kenya and south africa since the cold war days This are the locations they ran the propaganda machine from in the form of CNN , BBC etc and fought proxy wars in angola ,congo among others. The future of africa/ exploitation of its resources will be shaped in "hubs", nairobi lagos and joburg and this is where american/ chinese firms entering africa are setting base .if civil war were to happen in TZ US would just evacuate its citizens just like it did in rwanda mali chad etc

We need to maintain perspective by remembering that our acceptance in the international arena is dependent on our leaders/(demigods to some here) are frequently required to travel to the west to kowtow to foreign nationals and "cooperate".

Remember 18 year old American boy soldiers are exempt from such humiliation.

Other than the fact that he is half black, what makes him different from the other former Presidents?

I pity those CORDeshians who were waving US flags at Nyayo stadium final presidential rally as if Kenya is a part of the US. His not coming here will really hurt them as they were doing it for him!

watalilia kwa choo.

The last sitting US president to visit Kenya was in 1909 but we are still ahead of the pack! No big DEAL.

Me? I don't want him anywhere near here! Akae mbali sana. We have enough traffic problems in Nairobi without him. His visit would result in a drop in our GDP because of stalled small businesses....imagine they would clear the whole CBD and Inda for his motorcade to move from JKIA to State House!

Reasons why President Obama is not coming to Kenya:

They did not tell him the results of the HIV test he took in Kisumu in 2006.
Malik Obama did not get elected.
Kenya's president's father fired Obama's father from government in 1969.
He fears his grandma might send him back to the market to sell Sukuma Wiki

He does not want to give Donald Trump any more evidence that he is really a Kenyan by birth.
