Nextgen are just being greedy
Instead of buying a 3 bedroom in Nextgen estate or whatever it is called at 27m,I can get half an acre opposite Hillcrest in Karen at 15m,use 7m to construct a 5 bedroom house with guest wing and SQ for 2,the balance of 5m is enough to furnish the house to Karen standards while on Nextgen you just have the apartment and neighbours with loud music,those that don't pay service fees,dirty stairs and a myriad of problems.

If you can afford to Pay 27M by Mortgage, surely you have means of accumulating and saving 7 million cash over a few years.... Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

Taking a 27m to buy the apartment is being insane.Anyway,I hear you can now get a mortgage to buy a plot and build your own house.

a converstation I had with a tout;
makanga: hawa watu wa personal (personal car owners) ni wajinga sana.
nakujua: ehh ( surprised by the bitterness in the tone)
nakujua: tried to kill off the conversation by turning the other way to look outside - luckily some one wanted to alight so he had to slide the door open.

The makanga thinks that the 500 k is a lot of money? Why didnt the owner of the matatu do the same? Little knowledge is dangerous, i guess!
You will know that you have arrived when money and time are not mutually exclusive "events" in you life!

Pricing of mortagages in kenya ni noma coz of the high interest rates. Any mortage going for more than 6 years you tend to pay more than double
