@murchr @guru, save for the benefits of KE-Oil that will accrue to the whole of the banking industry, which specific benefits will accrue to NBK¿ I ask coz i dont see how NBK is specifically the banking sector KE-Oil play

Oil transactions will need government supported banks to flow through!

Although they need to improve capacity we all know gava only has a majority in 2 banks ie consolidated and NBK...

Today, government transactions are going through a number of banks. This will certainly continue to be the way even with oil transactions. To add, government has been seeking ways of divesting from NBK. This will happen soon and its likely to be occur before oil money begins flowing ...
