These actions are taking our State and nation further along the drain.

How much was the farmer paid for the pigs? Have I heard that the farmer is now breeding lice and cockroaches? I fear that we are now firmly in an economy of protest. Man eat man amplified.

It's a shame that now it's the activists who are denying reform.

So, do we sit back and let these blood-sucking Mpigs suck the blood out of us to the last drop????

If agreements are broken, if the people feel betrayed, are they justified in protesting? When did the citizen lose his power to negotiate?

Whose strategy was this? How did it get implemented? The whole thing stinks of despotism.

Idiotic: A policeman who earns 20k defending an mpig earning 25 or is it 40 times more and fighting for more! And we wait for police reformation! Goddo will come before we achieve half of this target.

I thought so too. I think @impunity had a footer going by "which is dirtier, pig or mp"... and someone, dont know if it was him or guka coined the name "mpig". There was a thread about that waaayyy back. Experts can help you dig it up.

never occurred to them. beyond irony. way past stupidity. should in fact be championing the reduction of the mp pay in the hopes that some of the savings will go into better (and deserved) pay for them.

Just for arguments sake, what would the ideal pay be for workers in different critical sectors of the economy? 1.mps and other politicians. remains as is 2. Doctors: basic pay of at least 300k. 3. Teachers: basic pay of 40 to 100k 4. Engineers, architects and quantity surveyors: basic pay of 150 to 300k 5. Police: same as teachers
