Law 1 of 48 Laws of Power

Never Outshine the Master

Always make those above you feel comfortably superior. In your desire to please or impress them, do not go too far in displaying your talents or you might accomplish the opposite – inspire fear and insecurity. Make your masters appear more brilliant than they are and you will attain the heights of power.

I don't think WSR has to do anything, the master and his kitchen cabinet from the onset already feel that WSR outshines them...

How do you order military crackdown in Mandera when the Commander in chief is alive and kicking?

In absence of the President, he is the president. There is a story here about it:

By the way.

Quote:
Aricle 147(3) says: Subject to Article 134, when the President is absent or is temporarily incapacitated, and during any other period that the President decides, the Deputy President shall act as the President.

Quote:
But the Constitution also spells out what the Deputy President cannot do when his boss is absent. He cannot nominate or appoint judges, cabinet secretaries or ambassadors, confer honours or pardon offenders.

Methinks the only gap is that for military to be deployed anywhere on security operations, Parliamentary approval must be sought. Otherwise internal security is a preserve of the police. Am sure an MP will noisily raise this matter in the house. At the same time, much as William is becoming popular with his assertiveness, he could be eating his own tail politically. I hope he has no plans for 2017 against UK!

Think again...seems like he has a believe that some voting blocks are orphaned..

william ruto was hailed as a performer in the agriculture ministry. until he outshone his supervisor and 'he had to go'. it will be a shame if he did not perform here and more shame if he is not rightly hailed.

..WILLIAM RUTO gave a SHOOT-TO-KILL order, becoming the first deputy/vice president in the whole world to do so!

It is 2018 elections and one of the propaganda being used against him by western region, Coast and N.E is:

"He killed our people...he gave orders for our people to be killed!"

Uhuru goes to these regions and says..."I was not there...Govt doesn't kill its own people....I still do not know where he got the power from". ''Ask him''

There is also the little issue of Muteshi land he is accussed of grabbing.

What goes round will definitely come around!

Teething problems!

Now that you have pointed it out and am sure there are others who have noted it too, Itarekebishwa.

Meanwhile I feel Ruto is trying and the face of Deputy President (formerly VP) Office is changing from ceremonial to one with some real job to do.

Bigchick it is actually more ceremonial this time round than ever..
It's just that.. under a coalition with an equal partner.. lazima apewe a worthy share... otherwise it will be baaaaaaad..
What the insiders/handlers are learning is that, they have to let the man be.... 5 years is a short time and the ICC has time.. so 20years is a good timespan..

ile siky kutaharibika is when one of those cases is dropped.. say Uhuru's...

If there is a man who can get a job done.. its Uhuru

He is now in this to clear his name from the ICC.. he will do it..
Then he will have time to run the country.. he will do it
then he will have to deal or placate matters/ his 2013 partners.. He will do it and retire honourably...

Wait and see....

You guys leave the Deputy Presidents alone! Wacheni afanye kazi. Ama mwataka awe akinywa kahawa akingoja rais arudi??

Kenyans are a funny lot! Ukikataa kufanya kazi nis shida! Ukifanya ni shida! Ukikosa ku comment about MPigs planned raid of the treasury ni shida. Uki comment ni shida!!! Nini hii???

I listened to the President talking to Julie Gichuru in South Africa [Full interview to be aired today at 9:50pm on CORD TV] and he knows exactly what the Deputy and everyone else is doing in Kenya.

This is how you run a country or company for that matter. Things don't have to come to a stand still just because the top most guy is not around!

You gus are freaking hilarious! Do you think in his right mind [and yours!!] the Deputy President would ever deploy the military without the knowledge of the President? You must be very naive!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
