Since its a CDMA phone i was told by the blackberry guys locally that my phone works like a roaming client from Verizon hence wont get blackberry service at all from the local providers Safcon or airtell. Only Verizon wireless can give you internet service. A small consolation though is to load opera mini on your device.
Sorry to say that those guys at safcom and airtel knows too little only what they are told. they have little time for research to get to know more. I once visited them and i had to show them too much on smartphones.
