and they are 3rd in the pecking order of CORD though coming second after the kikuyu in the tyranny of numbers but voter registration and turnout usually low.Wetangula is now the driver lets see how he plays his cards...

boss, what do you mean luhya nation? they rejected the party and the flagbearer... THEY voted for the party of their choice..... Sure. Luhya means clan or an elders' baraza where community issues were raised and tackled. The term gained international prominence when the ''White'' man started to selfishly befriend the leadership and allowed to attend some barazas. The Luhya Nation came into being just the other day in 1948!! B4 that they were simply known as the Abalogoli, Ababukusu, Abatiriki, Abasamia,Abakabras...
