A lot has been said about 8-4-4 being a poor system but emerging 8-4-4 are proving this idea wrong.

1. All surprisingly young emerging group of CEO's/MP's are 8-4-4. The walalo of IECC,Centum,virtually everywhere.
2. When 8-4-4 were doing CPA's and double intake with A-Levels,8-4-4 beat A-levels (all awards) hands down.
3. Instead of running to diaspora to find their dreams they do it right here (Genge music,Kapuka,Homeboyz Entertainment,etc) 8-4-4 control the entire entertainment industry
4. A-Levels graduates are narrow minded and office focused,8-4-4 try whatever Fundi Frank,Auto works,interior design.
5. 8-4-4 score higher on most standard entry test.

For some reason 8-4-4 are very good in the arts and entertainment. When it comes to technical fields that is a different story. A levellers will be phased out within the next decade as they are growing older. It is only obvious that the 8-4-4 will be promoted. Progression is there for all ages to enjoy. You have to test your theory. Any A -leveller who was caught up by the 8-4-4 must be a slow one.

Why was 7-6-3 dumped for 8-4-4.

If you asked me,I think 8-4-4 produces more rounded graduates,while 7-6-3 really attempts to specialise their grads.

Verdict,8-4-4 is better for kenya/africa. I presume UG are on 7-6-3,whats TZ on. Kenyans are definitely more innovative (or better at adopting western stuff) than our EA neighbours. We are also more self reliant.

Ugandans/Tanzanians are much more confident and assertive than kenyans. And even better public speakers. And I am not thinking about Museveni and Kikwete.
