Rank: Elder Joined: 12/6/2008 Posts: 3,589		Everyone is a politician, do not believe Dep.President when he lies "there will be only two politicians in cabinet", why did they appoint their tribes people aka stronholds and allies only? don't forget the politics between CJ and Kimem's,nis,army and uhuruto, iebc vs cord all politics from non-politicians! It reigns supreme above the judiciary, the legislature and the executive, cabinet is their own "new" political bigwigs, ps's will run errands, nothing new, just new faces. Ras Kienyeji Man

Using wikipedia's definition of a politician, it seems they are A politician, political leader, or political figure (from Classical Greek πόλις, "polis") is a person who is involved in influencing public policy and decision making.

Rank: Veteran Joined: 11/17/2009 Posts: 2,040 Location: GA		given that this principal secretaries will also go to technocrats whats the fate of ongeri , mungatana and the rest of jubilee big wigs who were floored and how exactly will uhuru and ruto campaign in future elections i doubt any politician will want to endure a gruelling campaign period just to be rewarded with a parastatal board position.

They will be in cabinet to discuss and make decisions as government....collective government decision making. Also CS will be the interface between Executive and Legislation (accountable to parliamentary committees) Principle secretary will have operational and accounting role in his or her department. e.g. Administration, Planning, implementing government policy and decisions, people management in the department, etc I see the relationship between them... CS AS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN/ MD and PS as the GENERAL MANAGER of an organization. my 2 cents
