Daniel Day-Lewis wins a record 3rd Oscar for role in Abraham Lincoln. Apparently, he has only made 4 movies in a decade.

How many people even know this guy. I first watched him in "there will be blood" he is damn good and shockingly intense but I think the oscars are stuck in the past. Its time to rethink what a best actor should be.

Lately I find the comedy genre more entertaining and it would be nice if the likes of Adam Sandler,Vince Vaughn etc were lined up for recognition.

Did you watch Gangs of Newyork? He was the 'Butcher' and was brilliant. Loved that violent movie, that was the first time I took notice of him.

Ooh ya, thats signature him. And yes he was brilliant like he always is. My point is Adam Sandler and the likes are definitely better actors.
