That Masai when nominated should not serve you better than he will serve me because your Masai. No more 42 posts, Welcome to the new order. Competence not tribe. If you want posts in this era you better start networking big time.
Reality in 2013 is that we are as tribal as we can be. People voted on tribal basis in the just concluded elections and that will continue in the foreseeable future. Why do you think that this mindset has changed now after the nomination of the cabinet? Are you too excited with these nominations to see how politics will be played in Maasailand and the coast in future? Kibaki took the country from contraction state to 7% GDP annual growth rate resulting in benefits for everyone across the board but many people were incited against his administration in 2007.
I guess you are the one who can not see the reality of things. Maasai and Samburu MPs have already come together to say they were overlooked in the nominations. That makes most people in this community feel overlooked despite that fact that the cabinet in place will serve everyone equally and they will benefit like everyone else. It is laughable that you cannot see the political ramifications of this feeling in future. My friend you better start smelling the coffee, those masai and samburu mps will change their minds in due time. This is the beginning of the new order, change is inevitable They will change only after they have been promised that one of them will be nominated to the cabinet. HE President Uhuru and his DP must address this issue at some point. Watch this space.

Some things are enjoyable alright but one of them is not playing pipe without knowing the tune.It can be miserable especially if you were to bear this embarassment (more embarassing than dropping two dimes in the middle of a sermon ) for 5 effing years. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

But surely, given the elections were a tyranny of numbers, how can the cabinet be balanced? Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming
